Terms of Service
Last updated 2 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Optreum Ops (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using optreum-ops.co.za you accept them. If you use Optreum Ops for a business, you confirm you may bind that business.
1. The service
Optreum Ops is a multi-tenant CRM and operations platform: you create a workspace, define your own record types and fields, import and manage customer data, and work with your team. We may improve, change or retire features over time.
2. Accounts and workspaces
- You must give accurate details and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- The person who creates a workspace is its owner and decides who may join and with what role (viewer, member, admin or owner).
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Your data
You own the data you and your team put into a workspace. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to hold that data and, where the law requires, for the notices and consents owed to the people it concerns.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or upload content that infringes others’ rights or that you have no right to hold;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk email through the service, or use it to harass or deceive anyone;
- attempt to access another workspace’s data, probe or disrupt the service, or bypass limits such as email quotas;
- upload malware, or resell the service without our written agreement.
We may suspend access where this is breached or where needed to protect the service or other users.
5. Plans, billing and cancelling
Paid plans are billed in US dollars, monthly in advance through Stripe, at the prices shown on our pricing page when you subscribe. Workspace owners can change or cancel the plan under Settings → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are not refunded. We will give notice before changing the price of an existing subscription.
6. Availability and support
We work to keep Optreum Ops available and your data safe, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Scheduled emails and similar features depend on third-party services and may be delayed. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose; you can export your data using the product’s export features.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act.
8. Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service and ask us to delete your account or workspace at any time. We may end or suspend your access for serious or repeated breach of these terms, with notice where practical. Sections that by nature should survive (such as liability and governing law) continue after the agreement ends.
9. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and we will notify workspace owners by email of material changes before they apply. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.
